If you would like to learn to chant Torah or want a refresher course, please join us! Knowledge of Torah trope and chanting is a prerequisite to celebrating an adult b’mitzvah at Shir Tikvah.

This class is taught by instructor Steve Greenberg for 12 weeks, 7:30-8:30 PM Tuesdays from February 15 through May 3.

$118; please acquire a copy of The Art of Torah Cantillation in advance of the class start: The Art of Torah Cantillation, Volume 1, by Portnoy and Wolff, Available from Behrman House Publishing. Please do NOT purchase this form Amazon, as its much more expensive; the Cantillation book is available from Behrman House Publishing for around $30.
